September is National Disaster Preparedness Month

Drought, earthquake, flood, fire, hurricanes, tsunamis—have you and your loved ones taken steps to prepare for these? What about landslides, power outages, thunderstorms, and tornadoes? Too many of us wait until they happen to think about what to do or what we need in that situation. The best way to protect your family is to take the appropriate precautions and utilize the resources provided.  Proper preparation will not necessarily prevent them from happening, but it will make it much easier for us to react and come back from a tragedy like these or countless others.
